Commissions

Raw Evaluation: $2.50 per lot per side.
Indices are commission-free under both account types.

Max Allocation

There is no maximum number of Evaluation accounts that can be purchased.
For Qualified Analyst accounts, the maximum total allocation is $400,000 per trader.
The maximum allocation per trading strategy is $300,000.
Alpha Capital defines a strategy based on the assets being traded.
Correlated assets traded as part of the same trade idea may also be treated as one trading strategy.

Risk Management

Consistently losing or risking 2% or more in a single trade or sequence of trades closed around the same time is NOT allowed
Extreme scalping is NOT allowed (a high frequency of short-duration trades relative to the entire trading history)
You cannot change asset or increase risk/margin usage after passing the Challenge — your trading style must be consistent
Always using max lots or max margin usage is NOT allowed

There is no maximum number of Trading Days for the Evaluation.

News Trading

Allowed

News trading is allowed in all challenges

Not Allowed

For Alpha Pro, Alpha One, and Alpha Three, trades initiated within 2 minutes before or up to 2 minutes after a high-impact news release must remain open for more than 2 minutes to be considered valid.
Trades that appear to be opened specifically to speculate around the restricted news window can be treated as gambling.
Swing accounts also have additional restrictions against short-term speculative news trading.

Overnight & Weekends Holding

Challenges: You can hold your positions overnight & over weekends
Alpha One & Swing Funded: You can hold your positions overnight & over weekends
Alpha Pro Funded: You can hold your positions overnight, but holding over weekends is NOT allowed
Alpha Direct: You can hold your positions overnight, but holding over weekends is NOT allowed

Copy Trading

Copy trading is allowed between Alpha accounts
You must inform the Alpha support team by email before starting to copy if you need to copy from another prop firm or from a personal account to an Alpha account

Allowed

Expert Advisors (EAs) are allowed on MT5 there is currently no EA functionality for cTrader DX Trade or Tradelocker accounts
To have EA trading enabled on a funded account it must be enabled and used during the challenge

Not Allowed

Using an Expert Advisor without approval via email from the Alpha Capital Support team is not allowed

VPN/VPS

Use a paid VPN or VPS with a dedicated IP in the same specific country each time you connect
Free VPNs are used by multiple users who share the same IP address which can pose security risks and may lead to account loss
Sharing your VPS connection with others is prohibited

Payout Policy

Alpha One, Alpha Swing & Alpha Pro:

Payout frequency: Bi-weekly
A minimum of 5 trading days

Note: Taking advantage by opening very low lots does NOT count toward the 5 trading days

On Demand Requirements:

40% consistency rule on funded accounts
A minimum of 2% of gross profits on the account balance

Alpha Direct:

Payout frequency: Bi-weekly
Reach a 3% profit buffer
Earn an additional 1% gross profit after the profit buffer, which is 4% total profit before the first payout request

Scale Up Plan

Maximum Capital

Traders can scale up to $2,000,000 in capital

Scale Up Plan

You can request scaling after achieving 10% capital growth on the account
Scaling amount equals 10% of the initial account balance
You can request performance fees and scaling at the same time

Example:

A $100,000 account reaches 10% profit and the balance becomes $110,000
Payout request at 80% equals $8,000
The new scaled balance remains $110,000 even after receiving the profit
